A. Yes.


Q. ARE THERE STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES IN PLACE, AND HOW DO I MAINTAIN QUALITY CONTROL?
A. You service your clients and we publish your magazine. We provide you with all the tools necessary to identify potential clients and sell ads. We provide the templates, design your ads, layout the articles and magazine, provide the cover story, print your magazine, and have it mailed to your reader list. By keeping all of the design and publishing in house, we maintain the high quality standards SENIOR Magazine demands throughout all markets.


Q. WHAT IS THE “SENIOR MAGAZINE CONFIDENTIAL OPERATIONS MANUAL”?
A. A comprehensive manual that contains the “SENIOR Magazine System” which includes product preparation and service methods, personnel procedures, purchasing, control techniques, and all policies, standards and procedures necessary to operate a SENIOR Magazine franchise.


Q. DOES MY FRANCHISE HAVE A PROTECTED TERRITORY?
A. Yes. If you open a traditional SENIOR Magazine, no other franchise will be permitted to open in your defined territory.


Q. CAN I SELL MY SENIOR MAGAZINE AND TRANSFER MY FRANCHISE?
A. Yes. You can sell your SENIOR Magazine and transfer your franchise with our prior consent.


Q. WHAT STATES ARE YOU OFFERING FRANCHISES?
A. We are currently offering franchises in all states except CA, HI, IL, IN, MA, MI, MN, NY, ND, RI, SD, VA, WA & WI.


Q. WHAT TYPES OF FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
A. Single or multiple territory franchises are available for qualified individuals.


Q. WHAT TRAINING DO I RECEIVE AS A NEW FRANCHISEE?
A. Each new franchise owner is required to attend a 3 day training program at the SENIOR Magazine Support Center in Colorado Springs, CO. The program consists of classroom instruction, and includes all necessary information and training to become a SENIOR Magazine franchisee. Following the 3 day in house training, a SENIOR Magazine representative will work with you a minimum of 2 days in your exclusive territory to further train you in our operating system. In the pre-opening days of your magazine, we will be available to make initial contact with area hospitals and help develop a list of potential advertisers consisting of the top local business professionals and physicians.


Q. WHAT CONTINUING ASSISTANCE CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE?
A. The support and assistance you receive is comprehensive and complete. It begins the moment you are accepted as a franchise owner and continues throughout your tenure with us. Our team provides on-going support and assistance in the efficient operation of your magazine. Our staff is dedicated to one ideal: our success is dependent upon your success.


Q. WHAT IS THE TERM OF THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT?
A. The term of the franchise agreement is seven (7) years.


Q. WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE 7 YEAR TERM?
A. You may renew the franchise agreement for an additional 7 years subject to the terms of the Franchise Agreement.


Q. HOW MUCH IS THE CONTINUING ROYALTY FEE?
A. There is no continuing royalty fee. There is a $2,000.00 publishing fee currently due three (3) times per year.


Q. WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT REQUIRED TO OPEN A SENIOR MAGAZINE FRANCHISE?
A. The estimated initial Franchise Fee is $30,000.00. The minimum net worth: $75,000.00 and minimum liquid asset value: $50,000.00
